On Site: Art for Healing: Heart Haiku

Art for Healing is a program to help patients and caregivers find strength and hope through creative expression. In this workshop, particpants will be guided through a simple writing technique, and create short verses to celebrate the heart. Haikus are traditionally a three-line verse, 5-7-5 syllables respectively. Individuals will embellish their haikus by drawing/coloring/pasting hearts of different sizes and shapes. Easy and fun to do, this community class provides an opportunity to share your heart with art and words! No artistic ability is required and all supplies are provided.
