Hartford Hospital Cancer Program Manager Karen Weingrod, MA, and Hospital of Central Connecticut Rehabilitation Network, Speech Language Pathologist Rachel Slater M.S., CCC-SLP were honored as finalists for the Hartford Business Journal Health Care Heroes Awards during the publication’s annual luncheon on Dec. 7 at the Hartford Marriott Downtown.
The publication’s Healthcare Hero Awards honor outstanding leaders in the healthcare industry whether they are companies, doctors, nurses, specialists or managers.
